Short Stories and One-shots

Carters Creek

Coworkers take a trip to a local Halloween attraction and it doesn't quite go as planned. Backgrounds and vibe are the main course in this spooky one shot

Puca's Night Out

After leaving Grannie's house young Cael encounters a mysterious, mischievous character he recognizes as a Puca. He never did warm up to them.

Earth Glass

A quick misadventure of two young Netari from my Saros series. They sneak into the great Yomi Library in search for a portal to the human world. My 2020 Tezuka entry, it got to the second round "yey".

A Night on Point Pleasant

Snack time for Mothman!

Happy spooky season from Lotti and Zenko!

Final Resting Place

"After the death of their mother, four young gargoyles begin a journey to find their perch, the place each of them will come to protect for their lifetimes. But finding one's perch is no easy task. Beset by the harsh natural world, humans who don't understand them, and rogue members of their own kind, the siblings may not all survive the journey."  Written by Jesse Baruffi

Sunset Gate

Back in 2018 I tried my hand at an SMA (Silent Manga Audition) entry. I think the prompt was teamwork and victory. The challenge of telling a story without words intrigued me, and i've tried to integrate it into my practice ever since.

Woof!

A cute game of Fetch between Palomo and Taal in their snowy homeland. Over the years I have found small, quiet character moments  the most fun to bring to life.
